Say hello to Kibbar, the newest little face to emerge from the pouch at our Wombat Burrow. Kibbar, which means ‘stone’ in the Guringai language, is the third Southern Hairy-nosed Wombat joey born at Taronga in five years. Keepers say she is already a very strong, confident and independent joey and is happy to go off exploring on her own while mum, Korra, is sleeping.
