This kind lady invited us into her home to shelter from the rain, our 4x4 got stuck in the mud when we tried to reach the Rubali Gold Mine, which was the real reason for me to travel to Uganda.
She is looking out for her father who works in the Rubali mine, while taking care of her brothers and sisters.
Sad thing is that there are also a lot of young children working in these Artisanal and illegal gold mines. In the upcoming days I will share photos and stories of these kids.
