This was just one of those days where the stars align when seemingly they shouldn’t. 115 degrees out, the last day of a month-long trip, up all night the night before, and even our monster Jumbotron tour bus had broken down leaving us cooped up at the mechanic’s. Even though we were about a half hour out of the city, @DaneBurman had the nutty idea to catch a cab into downtown to grind this rail he had randomly spotted before. Dane may do a ton of 50-50s but this one was no joke. Even on a weekday, with the heat and people all over the place, Dane put it down pretty easily before we even starting getting the boot. We celebrated across the street, making it back to the mechanic just in time for the bus to be fixed and take us home. After a long trip, I have to say it was a good day. Later on, I heard the rail was proofed just weeks after this photo. ?:@bartjones #ShootAllSkaters
