What's more fun than trying to free climb El Capitan in a day? Doing it with someone who makes it look and seem as casual as @アレックス・オノルド does. Last year it took me 6 days to summit El Cap via the Golden Gate - Alex and I managed to top out in just over 14 hours yesterday via the Freerider. Although I didn't free every pitch and I could barely aid climb my way to the summit on the last few hundred feet, it felt like a pretty solid effort and an amazing journey over so much terrain in such a short (yet long...) period of time. Big wall free climbing is wildly exhilarating, intense, painful, and completely exhausting; and climbing on the Capitan demands such a diverse skill set and level of fitness that it's all still somewhat mind boggling to me. Climbing with Alex brought that level of awe to an entirely new realm. Thanks Alex for being the ultimate ropegun and most awesome big wall partner ?@ザ・ノースフェイス @lasportivana #neverstopexploring
