This is the hardest post I've ever had to make here on IG, but I wanted to let you guys know that we lost our sweet Carlos today. He has been a little off for about a week, but the last 2 days he deteriorated rapidly. Without getting into too much detail, he was unable to keep anything down and very listless. We took him to the vet today, ran tests, and ruled out infection and viruses. His white blood count indicated some form of cancer. He was severely dehydrated and the vet said we could do more tests but she assured us that whatever was going on with him was major. While it's the hardest thing to do as a pet parent, we made the decision to end his suffering, and we know it was the right thing to do. We are going to miss him very much and his dad is especially heartbroken. We'll see you on the other side, Big Boy. #teamcarlos photo by Dad, 2010
