To celebrate the opening of @tiwani_contemporary's new exhibition of his photographs (along with their stand @photolondonfair), New York-based image-maker @dawitlpetros is taking over the AnOther Instagram to share his work and inspirations. First up: his own image, The Green March (Beyond the Conclusive Logic of Monumentality), 2016. "This photograph of a scarf suspended above the Sahara desert in southern Morocco is extracted from The Stranger's Notebook, a trilogy of works combining moving image, sound, and photography. This portion of the project considers the complexity of migratory movements within the African continent, and this picture merges the descriptive character of photography with the theatrical possibilities of performance and still life." #anothertakeover
