Today we're starting a new hashtag challenge: #DSCandid . Our team has been talking about the balance between what we all show- and don't show- online and how it contributes to the idea of "real life". I wrote more about my thoughts on the topic over at DS today (and the concept of "real" or "authentic") but all month we're hoping you'll join us in sharing candid moments from your daily life. No styling, no filter magic, just life as it happens and the story behind it. This is one of my favorite photos of our living room- right after we adopted Winky. I realized quickly how futile my efforts would be to keep this room clean. Two happy dogs = lots of shredded toys. And at the end of the day, I prefer the happy dogs to the tidy floor. Most days I leave it like this and just laugh while watching them rip things up and smile. (Don't worry, I don't let them eat the stuffing) ❤️
