@BostonMedicalCenter is a hospital I care deeply about, for the way they go above and beyond in caring for more than a specific ailment—they care for the person as a whole. If a child comes through BMC’s doors with a broken bone, that child will be sent home with a cast for his friends to sign and a prescription for the Food Pantry so his family doesn’t have to worry about putting food on the table. Everybody, especially children, deserves this type of excellent health care no matter their circumstances, and that is why I am teaming up with BMC Pediatrics for #V2VCharityChampions. It’s a tournament in which participating charities from all around the country are competing for points. The charity with the most points or shared content on social media can win up to $250,000. If (when) BMC wins, these funds will help support the many pediatric programs that heavily rely on philanthropic support.
