?THE REAL STORY?
At he time of Bowies passing , I was contacted by a gallery they had been following me for some time and seen my Bowies , they asked me to make a huge Bowie that would be the center piece of there gallery. The owner said " nows a good time everyone is Bowie Crazy" This rubbed me the wrong way.. I'm a fan Bowie and he will and always be dear to my heart, so I did this sketch for the painting that was suppose to be on canvas .. I never did the painting and I decided that wasn't the kind of place I want to be associated with.. And I REFUSE to capitalize on an icons death.. I shelved the sketch and it seems to of found a home in down town LA. 100% true story and truly a fan.. It's 5x8ft but looks small outside.
