Maisie Williams (@メイジー・ウィリアムズ) sees herself in her “Game of Thrones” character, Arya Stark. “I’m that sort of opinionated girl. And I like that about myself,” Maisie says. She also has an idea about why #GameOfThrones has become a global phenomenon: “Every character’s flawed. What the show really focuses on is showing every side of a character. There’s no good guy or bad guy, and I think that’s kind of true for everyday life.” The 19-year-old has honed this theory over the show’s six seasons, during which she (and Arya) have grown up on camera. “There’s something so lovely about coming back and chatting with my friends,” Maisie says of her downtime at home in southwestern England between filming. “It’s almost like I can, for a second, experience what a normal teenage life would’ve been like. It’s so exciting when I talk to them.”
