Despite how confident I may look in this shot I was actually borderline terrified! I have always had a fear of heights or a fear of falling (not 100% sure which) and on this flight out onto the ice to photograph the incredible Harp seal pup nurseries on the ice floes 35 miles off the coast of Newfoundland, we took the doors off the helicopters and strapped ourselves in so we could lean out and capture unobstructed images. I was quite literally besides myself but my whole team was adamant that was the best way. Today on The Gentleman's Code I am going to be discussing phobias, how to deal with them and even conquer them.
