Ancient Hindu texts of knowledge…meet The Wizard of OZ... The ruby red slippers represent the red chakra, the power everyone is after. The orange chakra, the emotional body is the orange poppies which lull and seduce Dorothy to sleep. The yellow brick road is the yellow chakra, mind and intellect. The emerald city represents the heart, the green chakra. The blue chakra is in the throat; while Dorothy chants “there is no place like home” her third eye opens, the violet chakra. As she activates these chakras by clicking her heels the sixth chakra is opened and everything goes back to black and white, she is home and realizes it was all a dream…she has integrated everything into her daily life and the white chakra is her communion with God.
