From the Archive: Lost House by Adjaye Associates

The Lost House is the work of David Adjaye, commissioned by the fashion entrepreneur Philip de Mesquita and designer Roksanda Ilincic. It is bold, deliberately provocative and theatrical, with an emphasis on spaces for entertaining and display.

Despite its name, the property is in fact a leasehold apartment. It was built on a delivery yard adjacent to a King’s Cross warehouse, and retains a concealed, hidden façade with little indication of what lies within.
