I've spent another full day trying to help to save cats from having their toes amputated by unethical and misguided pro-declaw veterinarians who are trying to stop our Cat Protection Bill in NY. ?
These human beings with the NYSVMS are truly a shame to the veterinary profession in America. How did they lose their moral compasses? They aren't helping to save declawed cats in shelters. Their veterinary leaders don't have any educational information on their websites about declawing or the humane alternatives. They aren't helping to repair the paws of declawed cats that are suffering. They aren't spending any of their money on campaigns to instill a healthy mindset in cat owners so they know that declawing is bad for the health and well being of all cats.
What are they doing you ask. Well they are spending all their time and $98,000 on trying to convince the legislators in New York that they must be able to keep performing this "medical procedure" as they call it. Why you ask? Hmmm, well most of the NYSVMS declaw cats. They are trying to kill our bill that is GOOD for the welfare of cats but bad for their pocketbooks. So if you want to help support what I'm doing in all my waking hours for the last 3 yrs in possibly one of the most draining & ??depressing fight one can imagine, here is your chance.
