Here, the subject didn’t move, enjoying the satisfying spectacle of his growing rice, but I did, floating past in a boat. You take what you can, whenever you can, or rather, you take what is given to you. And sometimes you know, right at the moment you take the photograph, that it all fits together, that you were given a fraction of a second of a world in balance. But then it is all gone.” — @vinkjohn
