After seeing all of your comments on the video posted on Monday, I wanted to share another powerful image with you from the wildlife contraband burn in Banda Aceh, Indonesia to bring attention to the work being done by #LDF partner, The Wildlife Conservation Society (@TheWCS). With the help of authorities, The Wildlife Conservation Society's Wildlife Crimes Unit, took action against wildlife brokers for trading tiger parts, among other animal parts. The suspects confessed that the tigers in question, believed to have originated from the Gunung Leuser National Park, were trapped by a snare and later killed by a poacher. The poacher then contacted the brokers to help him sell the tiger parts. Defenseless creatures like this can't protect themselves from the bullets, poisons, and traps of the humans stalking them. But we can. And we must.
