"This photograph is Pauline Murray of Penetration taken at The Roxy.

They were a great band back then and always went down a storm at The Roxy. Coming from the North East, with its decidedly different work ethic, they had a lot more of a professional attitude than some of the London punk bands and they could really play.

If it looks like I was nearly on stage with Pauline it’s because I very nearly was - right in the middle of the mosh pit. Although, The Roxy wasn’t really big enough for things to get to crazy, there simply wasn’t the room." @DerekRidgers
