This morning in Orlando’s Lake Eola Park, @hlswift photographed a memorial for victims of the shooting rampage that occurred in Florida early on Sunday. Fifty people died, including the shooter, and 53 more were wounded during the attack. The shooting — at @pulseorlando, a crowded gay nightclub — was the worst mass shooting in United States history. Today, President @Barack Obama said it appeared that the gunman, Omar Mateen, who claimed allegiance to the Islamic State, had been inspired by extremist information he’d found online.
