To celebrate the opening of the new @テート・ギャラリー Modern, and @Instagram’s weekend hashtag #WHPArchitecture, we’re featuring some of your wonderful photographs of the Museum’s buildings and galleries.
This photo by @paulskarseth beautifully captures the Museum’s façade. The columns are in the Greek Revival style, emulating the ionic columns of classical Greek architecture. They form part of the Museum's main quadrangle, which was designed by Sir Robert Smirke in 1823 and completed in 1852.
