In 1972, “Valley Curtain” was installed between two Colorado mountain slopes by avant-garde artist Christo and his wife Jeanne-Claude utilizing 200,200 square feet of woven nylon fabric. Today, Christo and his late wife's new installation, “The Floating Piers,” opens in Italy’s Lake Iseo.
