Spyros Tsapras (left), a volunteer with the Greek NGO, Solidarity Now, chats with some of the Syrian refugees who he has invited to share his home in Athens, #Greece. After working as a volunteer with thousands of refugees and migrants in the port of Piraeus he made the decision to share his home with several refugee families. “They had a small child of 4 years old and the mother was heavily pregnant. And they were looking for something better than staying in a tent in the port. And I didn’t even think about it. It was just impossible for me to let them stay in this condition so I just took them in my house,” said Tsapras. Basma, a mother and Syrian refugee staying in Tsapra’s home said, “We lost everything in our life, I lost everything -- my house, everything, my friends.
