Milan Fashion Week - Les Hommes SS17

Les Hommes Spring/Summer 2017 takes its inspiration from the Spanish Conquest of South America. Belgian design duo Bart Vandebosch and Tom Notte have created a military wear collection with oversized shapes and fit, colour scheme fitting the military theme as mostly green, white and black are used. Models’ ears, noses and lips are pierced and footwear consists of mid-calf black stud-embellished sandals. The collection feels urban yet utilitarian, with golden and silver details in zips hinting to Mayan adornments as well as military elements.
