Last week we had the chance to see Jane Lynch's musical comedy show, See Jane Sing! Jane was joined by Kate Flannery, who plays a lush on The Office, and whose pipes and comedic skills perfectly complemented Jane's. Jane has a great vocal range and for those of us who know her from the movies Best in Show, A Mighty Wind and as Sue Sylvester on Glee, she also has great comedic timing. Running through a set list of songs as diverse as an Irving Berlin tune, 60s era love songs with running commentary of their misogynistic lyrics, a fun version of "Mairzy Doats" and medley of songs that made you cry as a child - Puff the Magic Dragon, Ben, and Daddy Don't You Walk So Fast - Jane, Kate and former Glee musical arranger Tim Davis had you smiling, singing and laughing all night long. Cindy and I even got to join the fun when Tim stuck a mic in our faces during "King of the Road" and in my best baritone..."I ain't got no cigarettes"...the fun of sitting on the front row! @therealkateflannery @loudmouthmuch @flugelboy #seejanesing
