Feeling so lucky that I got to see @ブリトニー・スピアーズ perform in Vegas last night! She has been a favorite of mine from the very beginning, and even when I thought I was a punk in high school and eschewed all pop music, I couldn't help but love her (who can deny the power of Toxic?). But outside of her gifts at making amazing dance music and workout jams, I love that she is a real person. Her epic head shaving breakdown was an amazingly truthful insight into the realities of celebrity life, and made her just so... real to me. Having also come out of a prescription pill addiction myself, it made me feel like I could connect with her struggle. And years later, to see her performing in an awesome awesome awesome show in Vegas, watching her on insta being goofy with her kids, it feels great! We grew up with her, and it's extremely heartening and inspiring to see someone put in the work and come out STRONGER in the end ✨✨✨ Thanks for the most amazing birthday gift @natedoggfromiowa! I ?
