モネの代表作"睡蓮の池"をきんとんで表現してみました。筆跡を残しながら描く印象派の手法は和菓子のきんとんになんだか似ている…ということで、なんとなくわかるかな⁈

Today's Wagashi : Monet vol1〜Water Lily Pond
Monet sought to capture the essence of the natural world using short brushstrokes and turned away from the blended colors and evenness of classical art. I challenged to visualizing his world in Wagashi by the similar method with Kinton, the intricate bits of bean paste.
