July 1st, 2016 in Tokyo Alhamdulillah! Hana Tajima x Uniqlo collection finally launched in Japan! This was very big news for us Muslimah in Japan because the collection not only selling the modest cloth line but also Hijabs! Although I know the collection since I was living in Kuala Lumpur I never though this would be available in Japan! It was very happy to see non Muslim Japanese customers curiously look into Hijab collections and some of them were trying to wrap their hair or neck with Hijabs ? As I saw their attitude trying to figure out what is Muslim fashion hopefully people’s awareness and recognition will increase on what we wear and the story behind it.
