This 19th-century object is one of four large decorative ceiling panels from an interior of the Narinjistan Mansion in Shiraz, Iran. It arrived in the #BKMConservation lab stable but dirty so our Paintings and Objects Conservators are working together to clean its large surface in preparation for the reinstallation of the Asian and Middle East galleries, opening later next year. ?
