Will Grigg scored 25 League goals during the 2015-16 season, finishing as League One's top goalscorer, to help Wigan earn automatic promotion.
In May 2016, Wigan Athletic supporter Sean Kennedy uploaded a video to YouTube titled "Will Grigg's on fire", which featured a song written in recognition of Grigg with the chorus "Will Grigg's on fire, your defence is terrified" sung to the tune of "Freed from Desire" by Italian singer Gala.
On 31 May 2016, Electro duo Blonde released a version, which went Top 10!Unfortunately Will didn’t get to terrify any defences at #Euro2016, consigned to the bench, but his role as cult hero among Northern Ireland fans, is assured. Happy 25th Birthday Will!
