One of my favorite things to do while driving at night is to roll the window down, stick my head out and look up at the stars.
I spent the last week on a small island in Greece with @ChelseaKauai ridding Vespas through the hills, eating at cute restaurants and diving in some of the clearest water we’ve ever seen.
On our way back to the hotel I happen to peer out of the window and see the Milky Way Galaxy rising directly over the Mediterranean Sea.
With Chelsea passed out on the seat next to me I decided to pull over and take a few photos just for fun. I didn’t have my tripod so I stacked a couple rocks on the ground to get my camera at the right angle. This was the first image that popped up.
I've found that having a camera helps me slow down and really appreciate the little moments, absorbing my surroundings more fully and giving me a better appreciation for the beauty that’s all around us!
