Giving respect and a salute to the great #VaughnHarper. A lot of you New Yorkers were literally born because of Harper's assistance with setting the mood for your parents to git down w the git down. Next to dc's #MelvinLindsey (& should I add philly's #TonyBrown) Harper is synonymously connected to the #QuietStorm format of sexy late night radio of the 70s and remained at @wbls1075nyc for some 30+ years. Although not a New Yorker I was very familiar with his near Barry White silky midnight love voice and his penchant for playing the deep cuts not just the obvious Luther cuts. Turn out the lights. Light a candle. Spread love. Especially in these turbulent times we live in. Honor the love man Vaughn Harper!
