Charles Brookshire was leaving the Church on the Hill when I stopped him. I wanted to get his opinion on how he felt about the murder of the five police officers in downtown Dallas. "The disciples asked Jesus what was the greatest commandment and he told them to love thy God with all thy heart, mind, body and spirit. And the second greatest was like unto the first, to love they neighbour as thyself. And if we believe that and receive that in our hearts and spirit then we would not have all these problems," he reported.

Brookshire said this morning's sermon by Preacher Bruce Rosendahl addressed the shooting in a way.
"The pastor said this morning that when we look at our brothers we should see a person that was created in the image of God even if the person really doesn't believe it or is not acting like it, he is still created in the image of God and we are commissioned to love him."
