Today's #mondaymotivation: a little throwback of #whatsonmydesk from when I finished this sketch of the Monviso and the Mole Antonelliana in honor of the Aurora Optima Monviso 360 fountain pen, which was named after the highest point in the Cottian Alps and is still available in a very limited run at @chatterleyluxuries. After a weekend of rest, I'm ready to face the week with determination and a resolve to persevere and climb well. Regardless of what's around me, behind me or even from my own mistakes. A successful climber isn't the one who doesn't fall but is the one who keeps getting back up again and is gratefully humbled with each lesson. Growing pains don't feel good all the time but they do work toward a greater good. And to me that is worth celebrating. To life, to our humanity and to our greatness as well.
