We've always wondered what the highest point in a state like Kansas would look and feel like for the @FiftyPeaks team. From this shot of Mt. Sunflower, it seems remote, isolated and stunning in a very stark way. At 4,039 feet, it's a little different than Denali, but we're told it requires long dirt roads and a cattle guard crossing to reach a sculpture, a mailbox summit register and a plaque that says "On this site in 1897, nothing happened." The team is now ten high points away from completing their goal of 50 U.S. highpoints in 50 days or less. Give them a high five or a shout out below.
