Happy Birthday, José Luis Chilavert! The former Paraguay goalkeeper turns 51 today. Throughout his long and successful career, Chilavert cut an imposing figure between the posts. Aside from his shot-stopping abilities, he also made a name for himself as a dead-ball specialist, pioneering the role of the goalscoring goalkeeper. Chilavert had a goalscoring record that would make some forwards proud. He captained Paraguay at two FIFA World Cup tournaments (1998 and 2002).
