Many people have been telling me since I have been making all of my posts here in Guatemala that they wish they could do the same, that I am so loving, that I have a beautiful soul. The truth is we all have beautiful souls. We all have an immense amount of love we're able to give if we open our hearts to doing so. We are born knowing love, kindness, empathy, acceptance. We are born free. Your mind may be cloudy & conditioned but your soul is not. Your mind can trick you, lie to you, fill you with doubt. It can convince you you're incapable of doing many things. It can paralyze you to the point that you assume a certain way of feeling, of thinking, is who you are when in truth it is only a temporary state of being. The only person that can truly ever convince you that you're incapable or capable of doing something is yourself. We practice opening our hearts by not closing them. We reflect. We meditate. We engage in activities & with people that inspire us. We care for our body, mind, & soul equally as they are all interconnected. We work toward aligning our mind with our soul & in doing so becoming humans who act, make choices, & live in a way that benefits the greater good of ourself & all others. We are ALL loving, accepting, & kind. We are all capable of living the lives we envision. But for some it is a process of peeling all the layers blocking this way of being, stripping the mind of the many thoughts that convince us we are not, starving the ego, & nourishing the soul. We are all beautiful souls. Yours is just as beautiful as mine and mine just as beautiful as the next. I see this in myself & so it reflects on the way I treat others. I'm not perfect, I'm growing & learning. That's what we are all doing, but how aware we are of this makes a difference. I love you & I know YOU have a beautiful soul. But that makes no difference if you do not work to know the same.??✨?
