I have not always felt confident. I have not always been happy and healthy. 8 years ago I was in a very dark place. Depressed. Lonely. Lost. Sick. Overweight. Naive. Ambitionless. Hopeless. Without a family. Without many friends. No hope in sight and overwhelmed by life. We all have dark moments. It's out of these dark times we can be made or broken. It takes courage, hope and help. It takes a tiny vision of a life we can have. It takes a prayer, a friend, or an outlet. Something that gives us back life and meaning. Something that revives in us the hope to be better. The darkest moments in my life are the reasons I want to be strong. The darkest moments make life now seem so bright, vivid, uplifting and full. Out of the darkness, shines a brightness in all of us. Embrace that brightness and strengthen yourself even when no one else will. For me, it was prayer, being inspired by others and fitness.
