We want to introduce you to the amazing young women of @afghan_ascend. Plain and simple, these girls love to get outside, play sports, and climb — and they aren't letting anyone get in their way.

They're completing the first all-female expeditions on the tallest peaks in Afghanistan, kicking ass and taking names. They also commit six days of the week to volunteering, strengthening their communities, and bringing new sports (like swimming) to girls in the country.

Amidst the dangers of living in Afghanistan, they are finding new ways to explore and break boundaries. We couldn't be more proud to have these young women wearing our shoes.
