There is nothing more important to me in life, than knowledge. I remember good ol @Levar.Burton saying on #ReadingRainbow one time that #knowledgeIsPower, and it locked into Mai little mind ever since ?So, you can see why yesterday was incredibly valuable to me. My team and I at #PacificLinksFoundation was able to travel 2 hours up into the mountains of #LaoCai #Vietnam to speak to the locals in rural small villages about the dangers of #humantrafficking...that their children and women are the number ONE type of person traffickers try to lure because they've LESS EDUCATED about it. ?? Once someone is sold, they're abused, used and sent to far off countries, yes EVEN US states, to be used for sex, labor, anything human #slaves can do AGAINST THEIR WILL.
