These great animals used to walk the lengths of Africa seasonally, but they're now confined to reserves or by fences in most places. In Botswana, which has the highest density of elephants left, they are able to roam for great distances but are still constrained by water availability. This World Elephant Day join us in celebrating these incredible animals and remember that we are losing a horrific 30 000 of them to poachers every year. If you say no to ivory the poaching will eventually end and these giants of Africa will be able to follow their ancient trails for many years to come. #worldelephantday #saynotoivory
