I wanted to share something with you guys! ?????✨ One of the main reasons I chose to step away from professional erotic work and stick to only webcam modeling is because porn took away so much of my voice. Yes, I enjoy modeling itself. Yes, I enjoy expressing myself sexually. Yes, I was grateful for how much the income gave me the opportunity to do. But all of the sudden I had no say in who I was to those who were viewing my work. All of the sudden I was a porn star who *gasp* was also in college?! All of the sudden I felt like I was ONLY a body. Even when I had the opportunity to do interviews for websites and magazines, I often found they still dumbed down my responses if they didn't change them entirely half of the time. As a sex worker the stigma that comes along with the job already makes it more difficult to show others that you are intelligent. I hate that this is the case, but it is. Because I've lived and experienced it countless times. So why was I making it even harder for myself? What I LOVE about camming is that I have the opportunity to use my voice in any way I want to and nobody can take that away or forget that it's there. I can express myself physically, mentally, and spiritually. I am allowed the opportunity to open myself up to people who enjoy my work as more than just a body. It's fun AND rewarding. Some days I get naked and dance, some days I stay in my clothes and just talk. Now I am not saying webcam is all good, no bad. Because there are plenty of downsides that I could discuss as well. And of course I am not saying that all porn companies are bad, because they aren't! Goodness, there are companies whose work I absolutely LOVE. But I do feel so much of the adult industry is stuck in a place they fear changing because it has been that way for so long, but that way only adds to the stigma that sex workers are no more than just their bodies. This is just a part of being in the professional side of the industry that really tore me down and I wanted to share that with you guys. I want to express my body, mind, and soul equally with you guys. There is beauty in all three and even more beauty knowing they are all interconnected.?
