Although the results were heartbreaking and not what I had hoped or worked for, it doesn't take away the hard work and perseverance I dedicated to this team in honor to have a genuine smile like this one, showing how proud I am to be here. I was fortunate enough to represent my country at my second Olympic Games, and that in itself humbles me. Sometimes I forget where I've come from and the journey I took to get here, and how many girls would dream to be in my shoes and representing their country on the big stage. It's true when they say that persistence pays off. I've learned to never ever let anything or anyone get in the way of living your dreams, and you are your own worst enemy. So believe in yourself, love what you do, and dream big because NOTHING is impossible. ❤️
