It gets real at 3am when everyone hunkers down to try to fall asleep. I go into the whole Broadway Sleep Out hoping to make a difference, to change lives: the volunteers & residents at @covenant_house, the homeless kids of NY, to inspire awareness in others... And then I walk away actually realizing that I am the one who is changed. How blessed I am to have a roof over my head; to be surrounded by friends and family who love and believe in me; to be given opportunities to pursue my dreams... things the kids at CH never had. What's incredible is that they are all vibrant, unique, brave, beautiful individuals who still have dreams/aspirations and deserve the chance to leave their mark in this world! I am once again humbled by the #CHSleepout, and proud of the souls in my Bway community who turned up to Sleep Out! Thank you so much to all who gave and raised a collective $220K!! Your money is doing incredible things to love on & bring hope to every single kid that sets foot in @covenant_house. ????????????????
