I just finished today's practice shooting for @oneoeight.tv and I feel like I'm floating. Walking barefoot across the cold stone floor, skin glowing, not from sweat but from the sacredness that is breath linked with intention and movement. It hits me: I am so blessed. SO blessed. My life may not be perfect and there are difficult things I have to deal with and my family is kind of crazy and I get deeply upset about the state of the world more often than I like and I work too much or not enough and for some reason we keep getting drawn into pointless legal battles just because we are unexpectedly kicking ass where no one thought we could. I struggle to keep doing business with a heart in a yoga world that is so filled with people looking for money and fame and success when all I want to do is hold space. The other day we got a cease and desist from a competing yoga company (on absolutely zero basis) and two days later the same company invited me to headline an event for them. NO JOKE. I can't count on my two hands the assholes we encounter on a monthly basis. I don't have it all figured out and especially in business it gets hard, but oh my god am I blessed. I have a team that I trust and that is so dedicated to the higher good of this creation. I have a husband that supports me in every wild idea I set out to manifest. I have a community that roots me on every single day. I am so blessed! It's unbelievable. I feel it in @oneoeight.tv in this moment in time more than ever before.
I look down and this gorgeous feather just fell at my feet. Affirming my realization. A universal sign. All is love. All is well.
