"Hands down, my favorite #PopRally memory is The Boulevard of Berlin Dreams in 2008. It was a night of post-modern cabaret and desperate nostalgia acts conceived by Isengart (@thejoyofgaycooking) and featuring performances by Lady Rizo (@theladyrizo), Amber Ray (@amberrayc), and many others including a fashion show by the Dazzle Dancers (@machinedazzle) with costumes directly inspired by paintings in the exhibition “Kirchner and the Berlin Street.” Attendees dressed in creative cabaret attire and sipped absinthe cocktails.
