My goal is to always be original. To enter the pageant, I'm quite petit. I used to feel insecure about it, but not anymore. In Japan, there are so many pettit women who are beautiful inside and out. Beauty isn't only about height or being skinny. Each person is beautiful in their own way and we should embrace our originality. By doing well in this contest, I hope to be the encouragement for those who struggle with self image and make a statement that beauty isn't only about how we look. My mother always told me true beauty is kindness, compassion, and love. That kind of beauty touches your heart and enlighten others' souls. I would like to represent that kind beauty and value which were instilled by my family. Also, through my kimono dress brand, I hope to introduce the beauty of Japanese traditional culture all over the world.
