From Rescate Animal Zooave: "This cougar was brought to us by the police of Perez Zeledon, a city south of Costa Rica's capital. He was rescued by a civilian who said that his mother and brother were killed because they were hunting chickens in the area.
Fortunately, this cub came to us without any fatal injuries, but it's still unknown if he can be released or should continue living in captivity.
