My quest to find the best farm fresh eggs within reach in both NoFo and Westchester County is getting to be an obsession. Looking for: taste, healthy shells, dark yolk (shows the hens are well fortified which means more nutrition for us), ethically raised and free range, visual (I like them pretty!), and price. This so far scores the best in all points! $4/dz from Farmer Joe's on Church Lane in Aquebogue, NoFo -- honor system farmstand
