My first attempt at realism in over 10 years (back when I took a beginners painting class my freshman year of college to fulfill a credit). I've never really been too confident with realism as an artist which is why I embraced Pop Art a few years ago. I have so much more practicing to do, but I'm surprisingly happy with this piece--quirks and all. If you don't get out of your comfort zone you'll never know what you're capable of!
