Alfredo Alvarado and Bethany Shackerford salsa-danced at the “¡Arriba! Latin Dance Party” on the @highlinenyc in early August. Alfredo taught Bethany to dance. “I learned to let go,” she told @andrea_mohin, who photographs dance for @ニューヨーク・タイムズ. Moved by the heat and the incredible range of outdoor activities in summertime New York, @andrea_mohin has spent the last 6 weeks photographing dance outdoors all over the city, capturing people grooving and twirling and breaking a sweat on beaches, piers and pavements.
