Check out how @roothekangaroocat has ZERO difficulty climbing stairs.....there's really not much he can't do that a cat without his condition can. When we first moved I was nervous about how the stairs would be and even bought a baby gate fearing he'd stumble coming down since he can only put weight on one of his front paws but before we could get the gate out he ran up like he'd had stairs all his life & then came down safely. He even likes taking trips down into the basement which has no carpeting on the stairs or anywhere down there yet. He has proven handiCapable! ??
And to answer a repeated question I've seen often, yes, there is a reason we haven't posted too much over the past couple months. We are no longer in Florida & have moved north keeping us buried in boxes and moving paper. Can you guess where? Here's a hint: Their NFL football team and MLB baseball team mascots are both in the feline family. That should help! ??
It's a move we've been anticipating long before Venus was in our lives and everyone is settling in nicely and is very happy! ??
